Jamal is a sophomore from Brooklyn, New York, majoring in Economics and Information Science within the College of Arts & Sciences with a minor in Business. Previously, Jamal lived in St. Maarten for 13 years. On campus, he is also part of Black Gen Capital and the Cornell Formula One Racing Team (FSAE). This past summer, Jamal worked at Balyasny Asset Management as a Research Associate Intern. He also participated in programs such as the Carlyle Collegiate Series Program and BNY Mellon’s Freshman Jumpstart. Next summer, he will be working as a Rotational Summer Analyst at Jefferies.
